About Us
The West Carleton School of Performing Arts has been proudly introducing music and the performing arts to our community since September 2000. What began as a place to learn and grow has become a welcoming studio where students and families come together to celebrate creativity, confidence and a shared love of the arts.
Our Studio Community
At WCSOPA, we believe the studio should feel like a second home. Students are encouraged to have fun, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships in a positive and supportive environment. We welcome students of all ages, experience levels, and backgrounds, and strive to create a space where everyone feels valued and included.

Our Programs & Performances
We offer a wide variety of quality programs, including recreational and competitive dance opportunities. We are especially proud of our Competitive Dance Team and the dedication of the students who participate. Our year-end recital is a highlight of the season and a joyful celebration of our students’ hard work and achievements.
Our Facilities
Our studio features over 2000 square feet of space, including two air-conditioned studios with professional dance floors, mirrored walls, and ballet barres. Families are welcome to relax in our comfortable waiting area, which includes high speed Wi-Fi for those on the go.
